Garmin Express Download

After fulfilling all the above-given system requirements, you first have to download the software on your device. Although, downloading is a simple process, but to avoid mistakes, we are providing a complete guide that will assist you in downloading the application. Following are the step-by-step instructions carefully.

1. Firstly, you have to open an Internet browser.
2. Then, move to the official website of “Garmin”. For this, type “garmin.com” in the address bar.  
3. Now, move your cursor to the “Discover” tab. You will get this option on the top of the screen. 
4. By doing so, an extended list will appear. From the list, select “Garmin Express” option. 
5. In the next window, tap “Download For Windows” option. 

Mac users are required to click the “Download For Mac” option, located below the System Requirements option. 

1. This will start downloading the setup file of Garmin Express. 
2. It will take a few minutes for downloading to get done. Hence, wait until the process is on. 

Garmin Express Installation

Once you are done with the downloading process, the next step is to install the software. Installing the software differs as per the operating system you are using. Hence, we are providing the separate procedures both for Windows and Mac users. Follow the given process step-by-step and get your software installed successfully.

Windows

1. First and foremost, move to the “Downloads Folder”. 
2. Then, double-click the setup file that you have downloaded.
3. If prompted, then run the setup file by clicking the “Run” option. This will allow the installer to start its process. 
4.  In the next Garmin Express window, click the “Terms and Conditions” link. Garmin suggests you read the document carefully and agree to it by tick marking the checkbox. 

Here, you can also change the installation location. For changing the “Installation Location”, click the “Options” button and make the required changes. Then, click the “Back” tab. 

1. Now, hit the “Install” button. 
2. If required then click “Yes” for allowing the application to make the changes on your device.
3. After that, the installation process will start. It will take a few minutes. So, wait for the process to get completed.
4. Once the installation is done, tap the “Launch Garmin Express” button. 
5. Finally, in the next window, click the “Get Started” option. 

This will complete the installation process and take you to your Garmin Express application. Now, you can start using the Garmin Express application on your Windows device for updating your GPS purchased device. 

Mac

If you are a Mac user and you want to install Garmin Express, then follow the given process carefully.

1. After the completion of the download process, move to the “Downloads Folder”.
2. Then, double-click the downloaded setup file.
3. In the next window, tap the “Install Garmin Express” icon.
4. Now, click the “Continue” option in the popup box that appears. 
5.  Next, in the welcome window, click “Continue”.
6. After that, Garmin wants you to go through the “License Agreement For Garmin Software”. Read the complete document carefully and click the “Continue” button. 
7. Then, a popup box will appear asking you to agree to the terms and conditions of Garmin application you have read. Give your consent by clicking the “Agree” option. 
8. Thereafter, hit the “Install” button to continue with the process. 
9. If prompted, then enter the Mac administrator username and password. This permits the installer to install the application on your Mac device. 
10. Then, click “Install Software” option. 
11. Now, wait for the software to gets installed.
12. Lastly, click “Close” tab and come out of the installation window.

Garmin Express Account Creation

Account creation is the next step of the process. This will help you further in using your installed applications. Hence, follow the below-given procedure for creating a new account. 

1. Start the process by opening a web browser on your system.
2. Then, navigate to the Garmin Express page. For this, type “Garmin.com/express” in the address bar.
3. Next, you have to click the Profile Icon from the upper right corner of the screen. 
4. This will open an extended list. From the list, click “Create Account” option. This option is available at the bottom of the list.
5. In the next window, you should have to provide the following information in their respective fields.

• Name: Enter your first and last name. If you are creating an account for a third-party, then enter the details of that individual. 
• Email Address: You have to enter the email address that you want to link with your Garmin Express software.
• Retype Email Address: In the next field, again enter the email address for confirmation. 
• Password: Then, create a password which must be 8 characters long and must include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number.
• Re-type Password: Again enter the same password.

1. Now, if you want to get notified about the product news or promotions on the email address you have provided, then, tick mark the first checkbox. 
2. After that, read the “Terms of Use” and “Privacy Policy” document by tapping its relevant link. After reading the document, agree to it by clicking the checkbox. 
3. Lastly, click the “Create Account” button.
